Herchel Crainer

My passion for helping others led me to pursue a master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas. After working in the social worker career field for several years an opportunity presented itself in 1984, where I was given the incredible opportunity to become a State Farm Agent, specializing in Auto, Fire, and Life insurance. Joining a customer-centric company like State Farm, allowed me to embrace my desire to prioritize the interests of my customers.

With 40 years of experience under my belt, my dedication to serving customers remains unwavering. Throughout my career, I have also had the privilege of serving as the Past State President of our professional association. We offer a wide range of insurance options, including auto insurance, home insurance (otherwise known as hazard or property and casualty insurance), as well as life and health insurance. Our goal is to provide personalized product recommendations that align with everyone’s specific needs. At our agency, we pride ourselves on providing impeccably honest service.

In addition to my professional achievements, I am happily married to the love of my life and have raised three wonderful children, who blessed me with two beautiful grandchildren here in Hutchinson. In my free time, I enjoy activities such as golfing, fishing, and riding motorcycles. When you visit our office, you may notice a gate, but it is not for me – it’s for our one-year-old golden doodle puppy, Bentley! It keeps him safe and secure!

I just completed a week trip to LA, California to visit my son, Caleb. While I was there, I visited the Cosm, which is an immersive entertainment experience. It was a great trip, and I can't wait for my next adventure, whatever it may be.
